On Tuesday, I took my grandma to the doctor for a check up so she could get her prescriptions refilled. During the routine exam, the nurse practitioner found a lump on grandma’s breast. So on Thursday, she had an ultrasound done and this Monday I’m taking to another doctor along with the ultrasounds to see what is up. I’m assuming this doctor we are seeing is going to biopsy the lump. There is no history of breast cancer on either side of my family, so we have that going for us. Fingers are crossed.

I made a move in World of Warcraft. I transferred my human priest to another server and will be faction changing her when I get the funds for that. I was having a bit of buyer’s remorse, since my priest was in a lovely guild on her old server. I just needed a new start with the game. I still have a toon on my old server and will try to get her into the old guild.

Well, I finally got around to changing things this weekend. I’ve nearly got all my other sites incorporated in this blog alone. I felt that this is a way for me to update the site more with entries. Yay. Still have to get my toon pages up, but that won’t take long.

Over this weekend, some changes are going to be made. The site won’t be down at all, but the changes will be noticeable. I’ll be working on it on and off and all will know it’s done when I run screaming off the edge of my roof.

Just made some crepes. My first time making them. Smothered them with strawberries and Cool Whip. Very delish. Yum. First one was rather freakish, but the second and third were near perfect.

Had a rather uneventful Easter. No freak blizzards that stranded family at home. We actually cut down on the amount of food made, but it was still a lot.

My parents got a new tv. They got a 32 inch LCD HDTV. I got their older 30 inch widescreen HDTV. Made my day. Now I got to get a new dvd player to actually make use of the HD.

I’ve come to the realization that I’m a weekend parent. My oldest niece and nephew are always here. I haven’t figured out why they like it here. they can’t say that its because of the computer anymore. They both have computers now, though their dad controls their internet access via the router. They have better game consoles than me. Kids.

Been doing major cleaning over the past several weeks. I’m going to be honest. I’m a horrible housekeeper and I keep everything. I try hard not to keep things, but I fail at that. So now I’m making a lifestyle change. It’s just going to take a while to toss everything I know I don’t need nor want. When I first moved into my apartment, I told myself that I wasn’t going to become my great aunt, or even my mom. First year actually went well, but then if fell apart. Now I just need to pull it all back together.

I’ve made improvements. I got rid of my very large entertainment center. It had become a catch all in recent years. I replaced that with shelving, but I placed them high so it’s too much of a chore to put crap on it. They are displaying my porcelain dolls and a few knick knacks. One of the shelves extends over my desk, so that got a few office supplies on it.

I’m trying.
