Want

I want to grow wings and fly
Like the many birds in the sky.

I want to break the chain
So I can soar into the rain.

I want to go so very high
Become invisible to you eye.

I want to flee the strife
To begin a completely new life

Watching

He watched her
As she glided
across the floor
Light on her step
Auburn hair hung
in curls down her back

She watched him
Standing in a corner
Poorly hidden by shadows
Dashing in his attire
Eyes flashing wildly
Like jewels in a light

They meet later
clandestine lovers
Wanting each other
No holding back
Eyes locked, watching
Hungry for the other.

Words

Words to be written
for the world to see
Resonate within my head
in a swirl of nonsense
with the need for order
they mean nothing
until I understand

You Told Me

You told me you loved me
most passionately
Your told me you were faithful
most honestly
You told me you'd take care of me
most tenderly
You told me we were soulmates
most sincerely
You told me you were leaving
most easily
